Meet Bennett (my grandson)
Today, we got the volunteer shirt (Adult small) on 8 year old, Bennett – it’s a pretty good fit. He packed all the BBQ Bags then sealed them with our Crossed Heart BBQ sticker. After that, he insisted on loading them in the car, with the help of his little brother, Levi.
We were proud to have Bennett on the job. He was enthusiastic and appreciated Our Mission to serve in the community. He was probably thinking about his dad, Jake an officer serving with the St. Louis County Police Department.
