Today, we made the rounds to SCCAD Headquarters Building on Salt River Road with about 40 meals for the professional staff serving there. HQ is an impressive, 140,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility that opened in June 2021. It offers the St. Charles County; expanded training capacity, improved simulation labs, an enhanced emergency operations center and comprehensive fleet maintenance capabilities.
Across the county, SCCAD has 14 Permanent Base Stations (building 2 more), two Volunteer Bases and handles more than 40,000 service calls each year. Led by Chief Kelly Cope, SCCAD is “Committed to Excellence in providing extraordinary mobile healthcare to our community.”
