We made a rare Saturday afternoon delivery this week – that’s because of the St. Charles Festival of the Little Hills needs all the Park Rangers on duty. Here’s a few of the 11 Rangers serving there, grabbing a lunch before heading down to Frontier Park to help keep the fair safe and running smoothly. God bless them it’s HOT out there!
If you didn’t already know, the Ranger Division of the St. Charles City Parks and Recreation Department provides an inviting, safe and non-threatening environment for Park users through patrols and public relations. Uniquely, the Ranger Division is a Certified Police Officer Agency with law enforcement responsibilities to our Park System. In addition to patrolling our Parks, the Ranger Division also provides various programs and events throughout the year emphasizing interpretation and safety considerations.
