Today, Crossed Heart BBQ (with a lot of help) covered the whole county to honor the School Resource Officers (SRO) serving with the St. Charles County Police Department. If you didn’t know, the STC County has 22 SROs serving our community’s schools – They even have a K-9 officer, Bonnie. An SRO is sworn law enforcement officer that takes on the the important duty of keeping our kids and our school a safe place to learn and grow. They are part police officer, mentor, counselor and sometimes a one-on teacher. Our kids are in good hands! Thank you, SROs for serving our community in such a unique way. God bless.
