Honoring St. Charles County Sheriff’s Dept.

25 August 2023

We closed out this week with a delivery to the  St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department located on 2nd street in Old Town.  We packed up enough BBQ for the Sheriff, all the Deputies and Professional staff serving there.  Thanks to LT Shawn Rackhaus, Commander of Administrative Services and professional staff member, MIranda Patzius for getting us all set up there.

If you didn’t already know, the  St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department, led by Sheriff Scott Lewis was first established in 1805 with original jurisdiction over ALL the territory North of the Missouri River and West of the Mississippi River (think about that!).  Today, the County Sheriff is mainly responsible for St. Charles County Court Services including bailiffs and building security and also Field Services including deputies that execute warrants and subpoenas and out-of-state extraditions.

Thanks, LT RackhausMiranda and all the officers and staff on duty with the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Office for what you do to serve our community.
