KEEP BACK 343 FEET – When following a Lake St. Louis Fire Truck. Why that odd number?
That number is a memorial to the 343 fire fighters who died in the line-of-duty when the World Trade Center Towers collapsed on 9/11. What a humbling memorial and a reminder of the dangers facing all first responders as they serve our community. Please think about all the men and women serving us next time you’re behind a Lake St. Louis Fire Truck and are cautioned to Keep Back – 343 Feet.
