Today, we met Kevin Griffith on his very last day as he retires from the St. Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD). He was humble about it and didn’t say a word about retiring but soon, his co worker gave him away and right after that the Platoon Chief and some other folks showed up with a big cake and his secret was out. BBQ and Cake on his last day – what could be better than that?
He told us, “I thought that being a paramedic would be a first step to being a firefighter…but, I fell into a job I loved”. Lucky for all of us, Kevin stayed with SCCAD for 28 years. Think of how much he has done to help others.
