We’re on Winter Break but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to partner with First Steps Back Home and Waypoint Church to help feed some hungry people. First Steps knows the people, Waypoint knows the volunteers and we know BBQ. We are proud to be working together on such a great mission. We’ll be keeping this going twice a month in 2024.
If you’ve not heard of them, First Steps Back Home is a non-profit, serving the homeless and working poor of St. Charles and Warren Counties in Missouri. Their mission: “Through the transformative power of God’s Love through the Gospel of Jesus, we offer solutions for poverty and injustice to the homeless and working poor.” Matthew 22: 37-39.
