The Lead School invited us back again this year to serve a BBQ lunch to their students, faculty and staff. We were pleased to do it and what a great bunch of folks!
If you don’t know about them, the Lead School serves students with a variety of behavioral and social emotional diagnoses including emotional disturbance, autism, specific learning disabilities, sensory disabilities, mental health diagnoses, other health impairments, and traumatic brain injury.
Their mission is to provide an environment which promotes the academic, emotional, social and vocational growth and development of students whose needs are not being met by the traditional school setting. They’re doing a great job – God bless them!
